Highlights
An art gallery located in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, the King's Gallery presents a programme of temporary exhibitions from the Royal Collection, including works of art, crafts, furniture and jewellery.
It stands on the site of a former chapel destroyed during a bombing in 1940 and was built in 1962 on the initiative of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.
After a major restoration in 1997, the Gallery was reopened in 2002 by the Queen, on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee.

- The King's Gallery operates a timed entry system, with admissions every 15 minutes throughout the day.
- Please reserve a specific time at the time of purchase.
- If the selected time slot is full, entry will be permitted in the next available slot.
- During peak periods and holidays, wait times may be longer than usual.
- Tickets purchased cannot be converted into a 1-Year Pass.
- A typical visit lasts 1 to 1.5 hours.
- It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the time indicated on the ticket.
