Oxford and Cambridge: Departure from London

Why you should buy your ticket on Family Days.

Highlights

Join an exciting and informative day trip to Oxford and Cambridge, two iconic destinations in Britain's academic tradition.

Cambridge
Stroll through Cambridge's historic streets and admire the famous Senate House, once the seat of the Senate Council meetings and now the setting for traditional graduation ceremonies. This elegant neoclassical building encompasses centuries of history and is a key part of the city's university life.

Don't miss the astonishing Corpus Clock, located outside Corpus Christi College's Taylor Library. Considered one of the most ingenious creations of its time, this extraordinary mechanism is a true marvel to behold.

King's College Chapel
Visit the iconic King's College Chapel, one of Cambridge's most famous attractions. Built from 1446 onwards by order of Henry VI, it is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture, both for its imposing exterior and its ornate interior. The medieval stained glass windows and exceptional acoustics make it a unique place, where you can learn about the college's history and, if you're lucky, hear the famous choir.

Guided tour of Oxford
Discover the city home to the oldest university in the English-speaking world, strolling through its cobbled streets and historic squares. During the guided walking tour, you'll admire the splendid Bodleian Library, explore hidden courtyards, and be enchanted by spires, centuries-old architecture, and charming corners.

Christ Church College
Enter the prestigious Christ Church College and enjoy a stroll through its charming courtyards, soaking up the authentic university atmosphere. Harry Potter fans will recognize the famous Great Hall, which inspired the Hogwarts settings in several scenes from the saga.
